Baking soda

  • Add one teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water and rinse your mouth.

  • Mix baking soda in water and make a paste. Apply it on teeth and after 2 or 3 minutes rinse your mouth.

  • Mash the strawberries or tomatoes and apply it on the teeth with the help of tooth brush and rinse thoroughly after 3 minutes.

  • Add a quarter teaspoon of baking soda to the above paste to balance the acidity. Do not rub vigorously as baking soda is abrasive and may cause damage to enamel. Just apply and leave it for a minute to 3 minutes and rinse thoroughly.

Munch on carrots, apples, and raisins

Eat carrot, raisins, and apples. The fibers and the extra saliva produced help in removing stains and also kill bacteria. They assist in keeping the mouth clean. Basically munch on any fibre rich fruits and vegetables.

Banana and orange peel

Rub the inside part of the banana and orange peel on your teeth before going to bed. They help to fight with bacteria and also to remove stains.
